Two years apart. Two distinct expressions. One legendary Buffalo Trace lineage.
Experience the evolution of Eagle Rare with this exceptional pairing of the beloved 10 Year (750ml) and the brand-new 12 Year (700ml) expressions. Both crafted at Buffalo Trace Distillery using the same low-rye Mash Bill #1, these two bourbons showcase how just two additional years in the barrel can transform complexity, depth, and character. The 10 Year offers approachable balance and has long been a favorite among bourbon enthusiasts, while the 12 Year—introduced in June 2025 as a permanent addition to the lineup—delivers bold complexity with richer oak influence and deeper toffee notes.
This duo is perfect for side-by-side tastings, allowing you to explore the nuances that come with extended aging. From the complex aromatics of the 10 Year to the bolder intensity of the 12 Year, this collection tells the story of patience, craftsmanship, and the magic of Kentucky's climate working through dozens of seasonal cycles. Whether you're building your bourbon collection or gifting to an Eagle Rare fan, this is the ultimate comparison set.
