Stagg Batch 24A is the first 2024 batch of Buffalo Trace's cask-strength Stagg bourbon, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 127.6 proof (63.8% ABV). Ripe cherry and raspberry lead the aroma, followed by cocoa, cigar box, leather and a trace of barrel char.

The concentrated palate layers plum and dark fruit with burnt caramel, tannic oak and peppery spice. A dense, velvety finish carries warming oak and fruit. Let it rest neat in a tasting glass, then add a few drops of water to open the darker fruit and soften the proof.
